About ISTE

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. At present, ISTE has a very large and an effective membership base consisting of more than 1,02,985 Life Members, 5,54,094 Student Members, 2410 Institutional Members (including IITs, IISc.., NITs and other leading technical institutions), 1214 Faculty Chapters and 1322 Students’ Chapters and 17 Sections throughout the country.

The major objective of the ISTE is to provide quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity and to assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organisations.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College is also an Institutional Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi. (Institutional Member No IM 2097)

Total 27 faculties are Life members of ISTE and total 288 students are members of ISTE.

With Great Mission and Vision, MGMCoET, Noida, has inaugurated an ISTE Student and Faculty chapter in the college on 24 th March, 2015 at 2.00 pm in Seminar Hall for the benefit of the students and to increase the Spirit of Competition and Innovation among the Faculty.

Param Group

Param Group is the student group in the department of Computer Sciences & Engineering and was founded in the year 2002. It aims to overcome the gap between industries and academic. It help the student to learn about latest technology and make better interaction between the students and improve team work quality. During past 12 years, it organize various activities like In house Technical Seminars, In-house Paper Presentations, organization of Sports, Cultural, Extracurricular and Social Activities. It also regularly organizes CODE-MANIA , TECH WORD, FASTEST FINGER FIRST ,BATTLE GROUND during cultural festival ANTARNAAD in the Institute. The group has also organized various events in the academic year 2013-14 like CODE-A-THON(48 HRS NON STOP CODING), WINDOWS AZURE, MICROSOFT WEBINAR.

Innovent is the group of the students in Mechanical & Civil Department which was inaugurated on 14th March,2012.
Objectives of Group:
1)To enhance the students growth both academically and professionally to achieve higher standards.
2) Increase awareness of the recent advances, discoveries in engineering and technology, career opportunities in the engineering.
3)To promote Team-Work.
4)To develop & improve various skills like technical knowledge, aptitude, communication skills, presentation skills, organizational skills, General awareness etc. which is essential for an engineer in professional world.
5) Its main objective is overall personality development of students.
6)The aim of the Group is to motivate the students to organize, to coordinate & to participate in Co-curricular Activities and Extra Curricular Activities along with their regular Academic Activities.
7)Several thought provoking competitions such as Paper presentation, Project Presentation, Poster presentation, Quiz, Tech Debates and much more are to be conducted at regular intervals, Since inauguration, it has conducted various technical and non technical events, organized industrial tours and actively conducted social events as well. With its debut this year at Antarnaad'14, it has proved its mettle and is all keyed up to give many more spectacular performances. The group has organized Debate competition, General Quiz, Memory mania, Car Check Camp, Montage Fun, Mimic Act, AD MAD,etc in academic year 2013-14.

Synergy Group

Knowledge & Attitude Amplified and Errors Rectified

Synergy is the technical group in the ECE department created by students with the help of a faculty advisor and the HOD in the year 2004. It aims to promote Industrial Interaction, organize in-house technical Seminars, arrange Guest Lecturers and work on R&D Projects etc.
During past 13 years, the group has organized an array of events to add different feathers to its aura.

A new group has been established in the college under the name of ENVIRONTECH. The basic aim of this group is to inculcate a feeling of love and care for the mother Earth.
The group has thirty members with two faculty incharges with principal as patron. The member prepares Nukkad Nataks on saving Environment, protecting wild life and conserving water & energy. These nukkad Natak are designed on day to day life of common people. For the same, the trip of three days was planned to shivpuri in Rishikesh and Har-ki-Paudi in haridwar.
Under the aegis of this group, a special course of Environtech is being introduced in the college and students interested may join the special classes proposed to be conducted. The motto of the group is
